New Year. New Goals.

Happy New Year!

For many, a New Year means making new resolutions and goals. For some people dieting, working out, travelling, and spending time with family and friends are at the top of their resolution list. Here at the St. Vincent de Paul Society, we want 2017 to be full of hope for the poor in St. Joseph County.
Here are tips on how you can join our mission and make a New Year’s resolution that will last.

Start the New Year Right

Make it your resolution to become a monthly donor. Your monthly donation will directly impact the life of someone in need.

De-Clutter Your Home
Get an early start on spring cleaning and declutter your home! Donate your gently used furniture, clothing, and household items to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Your generously donated items will either be given away free of charge to a neighbor in need or will be sold in our resale stores, with the profits from the stores being reinvested back into our programs.
Bring your items directly to one of our stores or drop-off locations. For larger donations, call 234-6000 to schedule a free home pick-up.

Donate While You Shop

Donate to the Society by shopping on Amazon! Visit, sign in to your account, and search for “SVDPSB.” For every purchase you make, Amazon will donate a portion back to the Society, at no cost to you.

Get Thriftythrift

Our stores are a great place to find clothing, books, household items, and more at great prices!
With the profits from our stores being reinvested into our programs, you can feel good about where you shop.

Fundraise Your Way

Invest in the mission of the Society by becoming a fundraiser. You could host a bake sale, run a marathon, or ask people to make a donation on your birthday instead of receiving presents.
