Saturday, October 22nd – Ozanam Orientation, SVDP Center (520 Crescent Avenue). Please plan to join us for this formation and training retreat. If you are a new or an old Vincentian, this a great opportunity to learn all about Vincentian ministry and how the Society grew to be a worldwide organization of men and women connected to each other through their dedicated service to the poor. Monday, October 24th-Friday, October 28th – Christmas sign-ups. Applications for Christmas assistance will be taken at 520 Crescent Avenue Monday, October 24th through Friday, October 28th from 10am to 2pm daily. Tuesday, November 22nd – Annual Vincentian Mass. We welcome Vincentians, volunteers, employees, friends of the Society, and your families to join us for the annual Vincentian mass. This year’s event will be hosted by the St. Matthew Vincentian Conference. Mass will be begin at 5:30pm with special guest Bishop Rhoades, and dinner will follow. Dinner will be served buffet-style in the school; fried chicken from the Skillet and beverages will be provided. Tuesday, November 29th – #GivingTuesday. Giving Tuesday is a worldwide day dedicated to giving back to the organizations you love. This year, our goal is to raise $1,500 to help meet the needs of those who are struggling because of medical bills, who are fleeing domestic abuse, who have recently been released from jail, or who are working to regain custody of their children. We need your help to meet the needs of the poor in our community. Visit our Facebook page to spread the world and to get involved in our campaign.
Wednesday, April 29th – Legacy Dinner. You don’t want to miss our annual fundraiser, the Legacy Dinner. The event will be a celebration of the Society and our work in the community over the past year. Hear from our Executive Director, Anne Watson, bid on silent auction items, and enjoy a night of entertainment. All of the proceeds are reinvested back into our mission and our services.
